About Snack Buddies
Snack Buddies is a modern kids and family snack brand reimagining the baked snacks parents grew up on — half the sugar, twice the fiber, 5g of protein, hidden veggies, no artificial anything. Our debut line of mini muffins (Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, and Fudge Brownie) is distributed at retail in the frozen set to preserve freshness without relying on any preservatives — and everything thaws in just 15 minutes for easy, on-the-go convenience. That same formulation ships without needing any refrigeration, giving us real flexibility on the ecommerce side most frozen brands don't have.
We're founded by Amanda Klane and Drew Harrington, the founders behind Yasso, the leading better-for-you dessert brand acquired by Unilever. We're a fast-moving, lean team launching into national retail and ecommerce, driven by genuinely great-tasting products that turn first tastes into diehard fans. We build like a modern, digital-first consumer company — obsessed with the parents and kids who can't get enough of what we make.
We're hiring our first dedicated Community & Partnership Manager — someone who will build and own how Snack Buddies shows up in the world: brand and community partnerships, influencer strategy, and the sampling and events that make people feel like part of something.
The Role
This is a high-ownership, manager-level role for someone ready to build and run Snack Buddies' community and partnership strategy — from influencer and brand partnerships to field marketing and fan engagement — largely from scratch, and to define what great looks like as we grow. You'll own program strategy, budget, and external partner relationships, and report to the Head of Ecommerce and Growth, while working in real, regular connectivity with our co-CEOs — Amanda and Drew have built a category-leading consumer brand before, and they're closely involved in building this next one. You'll also work in close, regular partnership with our sales team — giving you real exposure to shopper marketing, from digital retail media to in-store sampling, as we build out national distribution. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape and scale what we believe will be the next beloved family snack brand, and the scope of this role will grow right along with it.
What You'll Own
Community & partnership strategy
- Own influencer and creator strategy end-to-end - build gifting strategy and lists, coordinate outreach, oversee fulfillment, and track what's working alongside seeding agencies
- Identify, pitch, and build brand-to-brand partnerships and co-marketing opportunities that expand our reach and credibility with new audiences
- Own the budget and performance tracking across influencer, seeding, and partnership programs, and manage the agencies and platform partners who support them
- Build and evolve the seeding/influencer CRM (contacts, shipping, status, deliverables)
- Build and manage partnerships executed through seeding platforms and mom/parent networks
- Identify, vet, and cultivate relationships with creators, community voices, and potential brand partners who fit Snack Buddies
Social, content & engagement
- Work with our team and agencies to develop, define, and execute the social media content engine of the brand - a unique opportunity to help shape our aesthetic, voice, and how we show up everywhere
- Own the content calendar and drive daily publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, working with creative/content partners as needed
- Build our engagement strategy and playbook - defining how and where we show up in comments, DMs, and relevant conversations across the platform, so our presence feels proactive and consistent rather than purely reactive to what lands in our own inbox
- Capture and lightly edit UGC and short-form content; spot and act on relevant trends and sounds
- Shape social and promotional support for limited-time offerings and retailer-specific campaigns
- Fuel the content and voice behind Snack Buddies' Snack Squad community, building anticipation and connection with our most engaged fans
- Bring a sharp read on what's resonating and use it to shape what we post and how we show up next
Event, field & shopper marketing
- Design and run a sampling and in-market activation strategy that drives awareness both digitally and in real life - creating sampling experiences exciting enough to turn fans into believers, and shareable enough to be amplified online for reach well beyond the room
- Target strategic markets and neighborhoods around key grocery accounts to drive trial, velocity, and support for new store placements
- Partner closely with the sales team to align the activation calendar with retailer launches, resets, and priority accounts - this close partnership is your window into shopper marketing, both digital (retailer media, ecommerce merchandising) and in-store (sampling, demos)
- Evaluate and pursue opportunities with macro influencers and tier-1 talent, from limited-time offerings to retailer-exclusive partnerships that raise our profile and open new doors
- Plan and run sampling tours and in-market activations end-to-end, from venue/route planning through day-of execution, in partnership with event/field agencies
- Manage sample/product inventory and fulfillment for events and seeding
- Be the on-the-ground presence at activations, representing the brand directly with consumers
- Take a lead role in growing the Snack Squad subscription program - programming limited-time offerings, exclusive drops, and unique brand experiences that turn fans into superfans
Support oversight
- Step in on higher-touch or sensitive inquiries where brand voice and judgment matter most - our tech stack and support partners handle routine day-to-day volume
- Oversee escalations from our customer service platform, looping in manufacturing and operations partners as needed
- Monitor reviews and Q&A on retailer/marketplace channels (Instacart, Amazon, retailer sites) for anything brand-critical
Reporting & strategic support
- Own weekly engagement and seeding reporting, and use it to shape what we do next
- Present program results and recommendations to leadership, connecting community and partnership performance to broader brand and sales goals
- Source strong organic content for the team to amplify through paid social
- Build sales and retailer-facing materials - one-pagers, line reviews, pitch decks - and help the team prep for key meetings
- Bring a point of view to broader marketing and business conversations - this is a small team, and your read on what's working will shape decisions beyond your immediate scope
